To log into Pirates' Cove, go to https://cove.armstrong.edu.
Activate Your Account
The Pirates' Cove login requires an AASU email username and password. All registered students should have activated their student email accounts through SHIP. However, if your account is not set up for some reason, follow these steps:
- Log into SHIP at http://ship.armstrong.edu.
- At the Main Menu, select "Student Email Account Maintenace."
- Select "Request an E-Mail Account."
- Read the General Guidelines. If you agree, click "I Agree."
- A message will appear stating that your account will be set up within two hours.

Obtain Your Username
- Log into SHIP at http://ship.armstrong.edu.
- Choose "Student Email Account Maintenance."
- Choose "View E-mail Account Status."
- If your account is not ready, you will be asked to try back later.
- If your account is ready, you will be given your username and your email address.

Obtain Your Password
Your default password is the 6-digit SHIP PIN you used when you activated your account.
NOTE: Your SHIP PIN is six digits only. Even if you type more than six digits, the field only accepts the first six numbers that you type.

Change Your Password
- In Pirates' Cove, select "Password" in the maroon navigation bar.
- Type your current password and a new password twice.
- Click "Submit."

Forgot Your Password
If you have forgotten your password or the PIN you used when you activated your account, you can reset your password to your current SHIP PIN.
- Log into SHIP at http://ship.armstrong.edu.
- Choose "Student Email Account Maintenance."
- Choose "Reset Password for AASU E-mail."
- You will be asked if you are sure you want to reset your password.
If you choose yes, your password will be reset to your PIN in about 2 hours. (If you check back to see if the password change has taken place before it is complete, it will ask you to please try back later.)
